Rowan Tree Therapy Counselling & Psychotherapy

Private counselling for adults · [Town] & online

A quiet hour, once a week, to work things through.

Therapy is a confidential space to think out loud — about anxiety, loss, a relationship, or something you can't quite name yet. You don't need to arrive with it all worked out.

No referral needed. Evening appointments available.

What people come with

You don't have to be in crisis to come to therapy.

Some people arrive with something specific. Others just know that something isn't right. Both are good enough reasons to start.

  • Anxiety and worry
  • Low mood and depression
  • Grief and bereavement
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Work stress and burnout
  • Self-esteem
  • Life transitions
  • Childhood experiences
  • Feeling stuck

How it works

Starting is the hardest part

A free 15-minute call

No commitment. You tell me a little about what's going on, and ask me anything you'd like to know.

A first session

Fifty minutes. We talk about what's brought you here and what you'd hope to be different.

Weekly sessions

Same time each week, in person or online. Open-ended, or a set number — whichever suits you.

How I work

Led by you, not by a script

I work integratively, which means I draw on more than one approach and adapt to the person in front of me rather than applying a fixed method. In practice that means some weeks we'll follow a thread back into the past, and other weeks we'll stay with what happened on Tuesday.

You set the pace. Nothing has to be said before you're ready to say it.

Getting in touch

Book a free 15-minute call

It's an informal conversation to see whether we'd work well together — not an assessment, and no obligation to book anything afterwards.
